> Transpacific partners with a number of leading government, industry and commercial bodies to ensure we keep our fingers on the pulse and can continue to provide best practice outcomes for our clients.

Australian Council of Recycling (ACOR)
ACOR is the national peak industry association for businesses in the recycling industry of Australia. As a Platinum Corporate Member, Transpacific works with ACOR to advocate improved levels of resource efficiency at national and state levels.

Transpacific and ACOR both acknowledge the need to move away from our current inefficient and wasteful economic system - where products and materials are disposed of at the end of their productive life - towards a more efficient and sustainable ‘closed loop’ materials economy.

Australian Packaging Covenant (APC)

The APC is a unique product stewardship partnership between government and industry that aims to both minimise packaging and divert packaging waste from landfill. As a signatory of the APC, Transpacific was the first company to break from the field and make ‘complete recycling’ solutions centric to the commercial and industrial sector on a national scale.

Transpacific received both support and funding from the APC for the Harvest Recycling program. The innovative Harvest service includes a Packaging Recycling and a Commingled Recycling service. This allows small to medium businesses, as well as large business, to easily and cost effectively recycle packaging waste – something that had previously only be available to much larger organisations. The APC identified the lack of complete recycling services to the commercial and industrial sector as a major ‘structural barrier’ and through Transpacific’s innovative programs, we have effected real change in this arena. Waste Management Association of Australia (WMAA)
The WMAA is Australia's peak association for waste management professionals and works to foster best practice and innovation in the waste and resource recovery industry. WMAA's network provides opportunities to be involved in projects aimed at encouraging both economically and environmentally sustainable waste management.

Transpacific is national Silver member and works with WMAA to respond to the demands for integrated resource management services.
